About Us...

We are a family owned and operated company started in East Lansing, Michigan in

2024. After leaving our corporate jobs, we wanted to create a business that our family

could build together. Beeswax candles were something that we personally loved to

make and use in our home, it is environmentally friendly, and we look forward to sharing

this with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is beeswax better than other candles?

Beeswax burns sootless and releases negative ions as it burns, cleaning the air. Beeswax candles are a great option for those with asthma or allergies due to these properties. Beeswax also burns longer than soy or paraffin waxes, drips less, and is 100% Biodegradable.

What is the correct way to burn a candle?

Burning your candle incorrectly can actually cause reduced burning times and increased dripping and soot. You should always start with your wick trimmed to ¼ inch in length. The which should be retrimmed to ¼ inch in length before each burn. You should not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Don’t forget to “hug” your candle! This can prevent dripping and ensure an even burn for your candle! Always burn on a fire safe surface.

Why are some beeswax candles different colors?

There are multiple factors that can affect the color of beeswax. This includes where the bees are getting their pollen from and what areas of the hive the wax is used in. Furthermore, beeswax is a natural product and can contain some particles missed in the filtering process. All these factors can affect wax color from batch to batch.

Does beeswax go bad?

No, unlike soy and paraffin waxes beeswax will never expire!

Do we add perfumes or dyes to our candles?

No! We never add dyes or perfumes to our candles. The addition of dyes and perfumes changes the characteristics of the beeswax and leads to more soot production.
